We wanted to exemplify images of a surprise so we first worked with pinatas and jack-in-the-boxes but thought they distracted from our artists so we just went with confetti...only by the time we got done with it you could barely tell it was confetti. Never mind, we liked it anyway and used variations of said confetti throughout the package. We continue to astound ourselves in finding pictures of the artists - and from the right periods - to use in the package designs.
