Though
there is a re-recording of the score available, nothing ever compares
to the real thing. Since critics (those unfortunate, dreary, cretinous
creatures we somehow often feel compelled to be influenced by) tend to
discount the artistic achievement of the film as a whole it seemed unlikely
that there would be a CD version of the original score coming out any
time soon. There was very little imagery of decent quality to work from
so Sun decided to go with the graphic from the back of the original album
as his main source and stuck with the theme of RED. The CD label was snagged
from the utterly ridiculous, utterly Italian, original Italian movie poster. |
