Bob
Crewe produced this abstract cutting edge drugged-out blue-eyed soul jam
jazz pop rock album by singer songwriter Lottie Golden released in 1969.
For this portfolio piece the original cover was restored and due to the
lack of available imagery of Ms. Golden the photos from the original back
cover were used on the back cover and label. Again, due to lack of available
imagery, the inside cover is a reproduction of one side of the original
album's inner sleeve which features a plethora of Atlantic Records' artists
of the time, testament to the fact that the label's large and varied roster
was supported by just a few major pop acts like Aretha Franklin and the
Young Rascals. The inner sleeve is also a testament to how diverse, colorful
and fun embodying the era was by comparison to today's heavy handed, bottom
line oriented music business product.
