Here,
the quickly produced artwork for instrumental albums of the late 50's
and 60's is emulated and perhaps (we hope) elevated - at least a little.
The cover uses the familiar technique of using text with simple graphics
on an oft used black background. The backs of these were usually black
and white but we decided to splurge. The colored bars used on each panel
maintain the theme while using them in various modes on each panel keeps
the design fresh and exciting. Nine of the 29 artists are shown on the
