wanted to do a cartoon version of a 1950's blonde bombshell, most of whom
were already cartoons to begin with...or wound up that way. He'd once
made fat padding for a friend who did the Hope Emmerson prison matron
character Evelyn Harper from "Caged" that he borrowed back thinking
that if it was squished into the appropriately shaped garment in might
take on just the right the bombshell qualities he was looking for. This
first Aurora look was transformed into the blowsy over-the-hill saloon
queen, Queenie once the concept of Aurora began to gel, as you will see
on the following pages. Here Aurora is pictured in the Pyramid dressing
room with The Lady Bunny, Audrey White and Hapi Phace. |
