Even after the original early days of the Roxy when that wonderful "eighties ethic" of weekly theme nights bit the dust, the girls were occasionally requested to participate in a theme. This spring night the girls were asked to show up in prom drag. Of course nobody told them that the theme was changed to beach party until all the corsages (courtesy of Heddy Laverne) had been made and distributed! So there were the girls in prom drag dancing on a stage littered with beach chairs, beach umbrellas and beach balls. Here the girls pose with the night's premier promoter, John Blair.
