Yet another Susanne Bartsch event, this time a "hoe-down" on the 23rd St. Pier...a bit before the reclamation of the the west side waterfront. Sun made Flotilla a dress that was at the same time glamorous yet disposable since Flotilla would later be mud wrestling with Joey Arias...a you had to see it to believe it event. Flotilla requested, "No photographs, please." Sun finally broke down and had Perfidia style a wig for what he calls his "Martha Rae Clampett" look. Other than dancing up a storm, part of Sun's duties that night included handing out daisies at the entrance while shrilly greeting guests with, "HOWDY!...WELCOME!"
