Sun met Brian Butterick when he went to work as a bartender at the Mudd Club where Brian was the doorman. Here, Sun greets his old pal as Hattie Hathaway (or is it Loretta B. DeMille?) who was one of the driving forces of the original Pyramid club where Bunny and Wendy Wild gave birth to Wigstock. Hattie gave Sun his first drag job dancing on the bar at the Pyramid when he was manager there. Hattie has been one of the most influential and creative forces in downtown nightlife ever since, going on to co-create Jackie 60, Mother and the new Daddy with partners Johnny Dynell and Chi Chi Valente.
